What really happened with Brenda and Sony?
Brenda was on a label called Chaos, a subsidiary of Sony/Columbia. A group called Work took over the label and cut loose several projects, including Brenda.
Sony also didn't spend a lot of money on Brenda Kahn. As Brenda puts it, "My face isn't even on the cover, it's on the back cover. If they'd spent $500,000 on the record, my face would've been on the cover, but since they only spent $50,000, my knees are on the cover."
Then, there were the rights to the songs to the Destination Anywhere album. A year later, after many court battles, she got back the rights to the music that had been recorded.

Some tips:
- Epiphany in Brooklyn should be available at any record store.
- Destination Anywhere should be available in record stores that carry new music artists (e.g., HMV, etc ...)
- Brenda Kahn may be found under the ALTERNATIVE, FOLK or POP categories.
- Also, check under Brenda Khan ... some people spell her name incorrectly even though her name is on the CD.
Are there any videos from the "Epiphany in Brooklyn" album?
There is a video for "I Don't Sleep, I Drink Coffee Instead" ... you might be able to watch it on a show called, "City Limits", on MuchMusic (Canada's music station). Unfortunately, this show no longer exists.
